The Quad City Animal Welfare Center, QCAWC, is a 501 c 3 nonprofit no kill humane society. Our mission is to operate a shelter for homeless animals, to offer a spay and neuter program, and to provide humane education.

In the first ten months of 2025, QCAWC has continued to make an incredible impact. We have saved more than eight hundred animals, provided thousands of low cost spay and neuter surgeries, served families through our affordable Wellness Clinic with vaccines and preventative care, and shared humane education programs throughout the Quad Cities community.

The Quad City Animal Welfare Center has been saving animals since 1977 one life at a time. We rely entirely on donations and cannot continue our life saving work without your support.
