The QCAWC is a non-profit Humane Society. Each year QCAWC accepts hundreds of unwanted kittens in to our care. We rely solely on donations, the intake and care of kittens puts a huge strain on our resources. The QCAWC is a 501(3)c and all donations are tax deductible. We have been Saving Animals One Life At A Time Since 1977! Below are ways you can help us make a difference.
We have created a Kitten Care Amazon Wish List for your convenience! Help us save the lives of hundreds of kittens in our care.

Many kittens who are released to QCAWC are still too small to be put up for adoption. By providing a safe and warm environment, foster families get tiny felines ready for adoption by socializing them to the activity of everyday life in a home. Fosters are a tremendous help in giving them some extra TLC and allowing for additional space in the shelters. All the necessary supplies to foster—like food and litter—are provided by QCAWC. The fosters supply the love! For more information on becoming a QCAWC Foster contact Cameron Johnson, Outreach Coordinator at 309-787-6830 Option #3 Ext. 36 or cameron@qcawc.org.
Before becoming a QCAWC Foster, please fill out and submit the QCAWC Foster Application.
Kittens under 4 months have an adoption fee of $75 and you can adopt two for $110.00! We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discovery Card, Cash, and Checks. Kittens are examined by our staff veterinarian, spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations for their age, microchipped, and tested for FIV/FELV. Our Adoption & Education Center is located at 724 2nd Avenue W in Milan. Due to COVID we are closed for public viewing, however you can still adopt! Check out our adoptable felines on Facebook and under adoptable animals.
