Birthdate: 3 years old

Vera is a beautiful Heeler mix with a heart as big as her gentle brown eyes. This sweet recently raised a litter of puppies and now it’s her turn to be babied and cherished the way she deserves!  

Vera is Heartworm and Ehrlichia positive — both are treatable, and we’ve got a dedicated plan in place to get her healthy and happy again.  

For now, Vera is on strict activity restrictions to keep her safe during treatment. We’re looking for a foster-to-adopt home, where she can start settling into her forever family while we continue to support her medical care.  

After everything this sweet mama has been through, she’s ready to be someone’s spoiled, snuggly baby. Could you be the one to give Vera the love and comfort she’s been waiting for?
