Birthdate: 6 years old

Avalon is a 6-year-old Husky with a big personality, a beautiful face, and a whole lot of love to give. She’s been with us for 11 months now, and while we adore her, we’d much rather be celebrating an adoption day than an anniversary.

True to her breed, Avalon is smart, spirited, and full of opinions—but that’s part of what makes her so special. She’s a volunteer favorite, and once you spend time with her, you’ll understand why. She LOVES her toys, going for walks, and just hanging out with her people. She thrives on connection, enrichment, and routine.

Avalon is looking for a home without other pets or small children, and she would do best with an adopter who understands Huskies or is ready to learn. She’ll need someone who respects her independent streak but also knows how to guide her with patience, structure, and love. She’s currently part of our Pawsitive Pawgress Program, which includes three free training sessions with KindK9s after adoption to help ensure she’s set up for success in her new home.
