Shenzi

About Me

Birthdate: 2 years old

This beautiful, uniquely adorable 2-year-old Lab mix came to us from another rescue with another dog and their seven puppies. One by one, everyone found their forever homes… except Shenzi. We know she is so special and that someone will be very lucky to have her!

Shenzi can be a little shy when she first meets you, but give her a little time and you’ll see the incredibly loving girl we’ve all come to adore. She is a staff favorite around here, and once she knows you’re a friend, she’s happy to show you just how sweet she really is. She’s also part of our Paws Forward Program, so her adopter will receive 3 FREE training sessions with Janette from Kind K9s after adoption!

Shenzi is positive for ehrlichia, a common and treatable tick-borne illness. She has received treatment and just needs routine veterinary care and monitoring going forward.

Shenzi has spent enough time waiting for everyone else to find their people. Now it’s her turn. She doesn’t need a crowd, just the right person who will give her the patience to warm up and the love she’s been waiting for. Could that person be you? Can't adopt? Please share!
