Candy is a beautiful Cocker Spaniel born 7/12/2020 and a survivor of the puppy mill world. She’s looking for a patient, loving family who will give her the time and space she needs to learn that life can be a wonderful place.
For Candy, humans and new environments can be scary, so she’ll need a dog-savvy adopter who understands that building trust takes time. We think she may do especially well with confident, friendly pets in the home who can help show her the ropes.
Once Candy warms up, she is every bit as sweet as her name suggests! She’s currently enjoying the comfort of a foster home, as the shelter environment was simply a little too overwhelming for her.
