Be Kind to Animals Week | May 3 to May 9, 2026

Be Kind to Animals Week is a special time to reflect on the important role animals play in our lives. They bring comfort, companionship, and unconditional love. They are there on our hardest days and celebrate with us on our best. This week is a chance to honor that bond and the compassion we share for the animals who depend on us.

At the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, we see this connection every day. Animals come to us in need of care, safety, and a second chance. With the support of our community, we are able to provide warm beds, full bowls, lifesaving medical care, and the love they deserve while we prepare them for their forever homes.
