Bluey did test faint positive for Feline Leukemia. We are recommending she be re-tested in 30 days (at no cost to the adopter). She can be adopted with a sibling or as the only cat due to her positive FeLV test. FeLV stands for Feline Leukemia Virus. It’s a contagious virus that affects cats and weakens their immune system. FeLV can lead to serious illnesses like anemia, infections, or cancer. It spreads through saliva, grooming, sharing bowls, or bites—usually between cats that live together.
